Things Rabbits Enjoy

 Telephone books:
Many rabbits like to shred paper. Old phone books are great because they are huge and you usually don't have any more use for them once you get this years copy.

Cardboard boxes:
Many rabbits will enjoy this easy toy. Rabbits love to sleep in them, play with them, and chew on them. Free boxes can usually be found at places like Walmart, Costco, and BJ's or whenever you get a package.

Toliet Paper Rolls:
These small cardboard rolls will provide endless entertainment for your little bunny rabbit. (Keep the ends of the paper on it to add more fun)

Plastic Keys(Baby keys)
Plastic, can be chewed without braking into peices and are safe.

Rabbits love to play with old(clean) blankets they can also help them find a confy place to sleep.

Newspaper Curtian

  1. Take a flat piece of cardboard (you can cut off one of the sides of an old box if you have one.). You can use a square shape, or cut a round, retangular, or triangle - whatever fits best for your situation.
  2. Poke a bunch of holes in the cardboard.
  3. Then take a newspaper pages out of your local and shred it into inch wide pieces going down, the long way.
  4. Take one of the ends of the shredded paper and twist it until it's thin enough to fit through the holes in the cardboard. Fill the all the holes until you have a little "jellyfish" like toy.
  5. To add some more sucurity tape to teh top surcuring the paper.
  6. Now you have to hang it - so put holes through the corners, or put three holes on the edge of a circle (equal distance apart) and use sisal or some other safe twine to string it through (remember to tie a knot at the bottom so it will hold the jellyfish up.  
  7. Then tie the strings together at the top and hang it somewhere low to the ground where your bunny can chew and run through the "curtain".

Soda Can

This idea is so easy

You need:
One Soda Can
Pebble 

  1. Drink the soda from the can
  2. Clean and rinse out the soda can
  3. Let this throughly dry both inside and out
  4. Sand down any sharp edges
  5. Romove the tab
  6. Add a pebble or two
  7. Place it in your rabbits cage

Your rabbit will love to shake rattle and roll this can around. This will amaze them. They love to make noise and move things around so this would be perfect to any little or big bunny.

Popsical Pop

Popsical Pop

Materials:

  • 4(or more) Jumbo Craft posicle sticks(any color)
  • Hemp Rope
  • 4(or more) Wooden Craft Beads
  • Bell (liberty bell style)

Directions:

  1. Drill a hope through the popsical sticks, through the center. The drill bit should be between 1/8-1/4
  2. Next cut the hemp. Decide how long you want your toy to be.Double this and add another 6-8 inches or more.
  3. Sting the bell to the middle of the rope.
  4. Let the bell dangel as you hold the two ends together. Make sure the bel is at the bottom.
  5. Now tie a knot above the bell
  6. Procede by stringing beads and craft sticks onto the hemp alternating however you please.
  7. Now tie a know right above the last peice on your toy.
  8. To hange tie to a cage either tie using the remaining string or attach a caribiner.

Other materials that can be used are:

  • Paper Towel rolls
  • Untreated twigs from apple trees
  • Plastic baby key rings
  • dried apple slices
  • Ect... Use your imagination
