Pet Rabbit Info

Intro

Okay, rabbits love to eat. But as owners we have to

regulate there intake to what is healthy for them. They

should have unlimited supply of hay. They should be

given pellets everyday. There also should be fresh

vegetables avalible on a daily to bi-daily basis.

Hay

Hay is one of the three crutial parts of a rabbits

diet. This is the only thing that shouldn't have a

limit. Hay should be avalible 24/7. Hay helps to

keep there digestive systems in check and are good

for them. Timothy or alfa are the two better kinds

of hay.

Pellets

Pellets should be given to your pet rabbit daily.

They shouldn't be always avalible. You should give

them enough to to satisfy there hunger, but not so

much that they can eat them all day and become

obese. 1/4-1/2 cups a day per 6lbs of weight

depending on metabolism and vegtable intake.

Vegtable and  Fruit Info

Vegtables should be given daily to your bunny

friend. You should introduce the individulale item

slowly and isolated. This way you can monitor your

rabbit and make sure that it doesn't cause any

problems you can reconize the problem. The same

for fruits except that since fruits are higher in sugar

should be given less often and in less than 3tbl per

6 lbs rations.
